browned butter mini apple pies

Y’all!  I don’t bake, and I guess this really doesn’t count as baking since the crescents are from a can….BUT let me tell you, they are DELICIOUS!!!

2 Granny Smith Apples - peeled, cored, and quartered

1 Can Crescent Rolls - I like to use the Immaculate Baking ones.

1 Stick Butter

1 Cup Brown Sugar

2 tsp. Cinnamon

2 tsp. Ground Ginger

In a small sauce pan, melt butter until it begins to brown.  Stir in sugar until it dissolves completely.   Add in cinnamon and ginger and combine thoroughly.  Add a little water to the butter/sugar mixture if it seems too thick to pour.  While the butter and sugar are melting, wrap one crescent around each apple slice.  Place in a greased baking dish.  Pour sauce over the apple pies.  Bake at 350 degrees until the crescents are browned and the sauce is bubbly.  Serve immediately.
