taking time for gratitude….

What ever happened to the art of the thank you note?  When did we get so distracted and busy that we can not find time to stop and say thank you for a gift or a nice gesture?  With all that is digital and flying by these days, it is nice to stop and write down your thoughts of thanks to someone, and even better than that, how wonderful it is to pick up the mail and have something other than bills and advertising fliers.  

I have been trying to remember to stop and pick up a pen when someone does something nice for me, and now that Razzi is learning to read and write, I am trying to instill a love of writing notes in her.  Mind you, it is a struggle at the moment, but once she finishes the little written notes, she is so proud to pop them in the mailbox.
