perfectly mismatched….

Remember those little charms that went on wine glasses in the late 90’s and early 2000’s? Yeah, I didn’t either until my bartender (and husband) was giving his explanation for why he always mixes and matches bar glasses when he’s serving drinks to our guests. He says that by giving different people different, yet coordinating (much like the kitschy wine charms always were), glasses, they never have to wonder which one is theirs. How ingenious!!! Not to mention the fact that it allows you to use a wide range of your awesome glassware collection in one evening!

You can have a world of fun with the different sets! All shades of blue, all etched in some way, all plain glass but with different shapes….the possibilities are absolutely endless! And don’t let yourself be pigeon-holed into a single glass having a particular use. Drink a Manhattan from a champagne bowl. Enjoy an old fashioned in a brandy snifter. Sip a martini from a compote. Just have fun with mixing and matching and actually using your pretty glasses!
